Wayzata Drive 4 Excellence Golf Tournament returns this fall

The Wayzata Drive 4 Excellence Golf Tournament is back this year and will be held at the Medina Golf and Country Club on September 20, 2021. The tournament was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the Wayzata Education Fund -- which sponsors the event -- previous events have generated over $275,000.

Lunch starts at 11:00 a.m and golf starts at 12:30 p.m. with a shotgun start, rain or shine. The event features 18 holes of golf using a best-ball format, contests throughout the day, with the day wrapping up with food and prizes.

You can support the event by becoming a sponsor or coming and golfing. Family sponsorships start at $50 that include the option to honor a teacher or staff member as part of the sponsorship. Corporate sponsorships start at $400. Every sponsorship gets their name on the programs, our website, and signage at the event.
